The path to the Bukov vrh Hill is interesting, undemanding and suitable for all age groups. In good weather, it offers a view far and wide. 

People used to make a pilgrimage to the Bukov vrh Hill because of headaches, namely to the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows (also the Church of the Holy Saturday from 1501), which is located at the top. We do not know how successful such a pilgrimage was, but we can say with certainty that recreation helps to prevent headaches. The view in front of the church opens up to the nearby Škofja Loka and Cerklje Hills all the way to Triglav.
